Me, You & Our Health

Updated: Aug 17, 2021

My connection with obesity over the years causes me to pay attention and take stock of how I am managing myself. My goal many years ago when I was 29 years old, was to fight for my health. To do that was a long and winding road, but one that is surely worth it. I continue to engage my health journey each day. I definitely pay special attention to my actions when I am around food. And I want to help you make good decisions as well.

I recognize that weight is just one measure of overall health, but it is an extremely important one. It's one thing to misplace your favorite coffee mug, it's another to deliberately make poor choices that can increase the risk of many health problems like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, etc. Achieving a healthy weight, eating nutritious foods, and being physically active can help improve your health and reduce your risks.

In many ways, I live my life by these principles and it has helped me feel better and be better as each day goes on. Please stay tuned, I will be sharing important tidbits for you in the coming weeks on my podcast. Meanwhile, stay safe, and stay healthy my friend!
